The Deep Sleep features 4 different tones that each have a different benefit. Listen to each to figure out which tone is best for you. “Soothe” is like a gentle rain and the lightest pitched tone that gently eases your mind. "Mask" is designed to mask external distractions including noisy neighbors and highway traffic. "Relax" is modulated to disrupt interfering room noise, such as a snoring partner. "Calm" is the deepest of all the tone settings, which is perfect for tinnitus sufferers and small children.
Once you have selected your favorite sleep sound, use the “Tone” button to adjust the tones of the noises. Press and hold the “+” symbol to remove bass and achieve a higher pitch. Press and hold the “-“ symbol to add bass and achieve a lower pitch. You can then adjust the volume to your preferred setting. A built-in timer lets you set session length for 30, 60, or 90 minutes.
HoMedics designed this sleep machine to be completely portable. It is only 6.8 inches on its longest side, making it easy to fit into most luggage bags. It can be powered by an adaptor (included) or 4 "AA" batteries (not included).
